As of January 1, 2007 we have adopted new loan periods for materials:

Books 3 weeks, 2 renewals
Audiobooks 3 weeks, 2 renewals
DVDs and videos 1 week, 1 renewal
Magazines 3 weeks, 2 renewals

Enjoy these new extended loan periods. Soon most of the 42 libraries in the Pioneer Library System will have the same standard loan periods, making checking out materials loaned between the libraries a more streamlined process.

Notice to patrons:
The library will be closed Friday January 12th, Saturday January 13th, and Monday January 15th (for Martin Luther King Day) in order to install carpet in the circulation and computer rooms. We apologize for the inconvenience and items left in the book return will not be overdue.

Carpet Complications
It looks like the library may have to close for a few days to accommodate installing carpet in our circulation desk area and in the computer room. We are not totally sure about when this will come to pass, but right now it looks like it will probably be between Wednesday January 10th and Saturday January 13th, but hopefully only for two days. Stay tuned for more details. We will try to give as much notice as possible.
