Party! Celebrate OWWL in Wyoming County

This past Spring all nine public libraries in Wyoming County finished becoming members of OWWL, the Pioneer Library System online catalog and circulation system. The nine libraries are coming together to celebrate and the public is invited.

Coming soon. Pioneer Library System has been awarded a New York State Department of Library Development Adult Literacy Grant. Warsaw Public Library and Arcade Free Library are the main recipients of programs to be provided with grant funds. We will be offering expanded services to Literacy West students and tutors, computer classes for all adult patrons with a new laptop lab and more over the next two years.

The Adult Educational Opportunity Center will have a representative available at Warsaw Public Library from 3:00-5:00 pm every second and fourth Monday starting in September to support patrons with no cost services such as:
Adult Education
Assistance with financial aid paperwork
Assistance with educational/career counseling
Locate public trainings and workshops
Assistance with academic planning and college search
Locating targeted funding sources for veterans
Locating targeted funding for under-represented groups
Services are for income-eligible participants
