Coming Soon To Warsaw Public Library

New Hours for 2008

Monday 10-8
Tuesday 10-8
Wednesday 1-8
Thursday 1-8
Friday 1-5
Saturday 1-5, closed July and August
Warsaw Public Library will be open two more hours a week starting on Wednesday January 2nd. Although the library will be closing at 8:00 pm instead of 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday, we will no longer be closed for the dinner hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Patrons will not have to deal with our old daily variety of open and closed hours, which were hard to remember. Patrons can stop by more easily after work and we will be open one more hour on Saturdays. Pick up a magnet with our new hours on it in January and use it to stick that date due slip to your refrigerator!

I listened to this book over Thanksgiving. It is an epic out of the middle ages. It is very enjoyable even if you wouldn't chose historical fiction. It has a mystery, love affairs, and plenty of intrigue.
I just started listening to this book today. I think it is quite funny so far...

Some Books I have been listening to lately and quick quips about them:

The Manny, by Holly Peterson
-not to bad for the NYC upper east side chick-lit obnoxious women type stories that are being written in hoards of volumes right now...

Free Fall and Weekend Warriors (Revenge of the Sisterhood Series) by Fern Michaels
-Yipes, this ladies club gets major back at the men that do them wrong. They have the assistance of a former 007 spy for the Queen and an old candy magnet's deep moneybags...

Fast Women by Jennifer Crusie
-China collecting mystery solving chick getting over a divorce and falling for her new boss- I listened to this one while I was antiquing in a big co-op...

A Long Way Gone Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmeal Beah
-I saw Mr. Beah speak at the University of Buffalo the week before last. He fought in the Sierra Leone civil war when he was only thirteen years old. He is campaigning against using children as combatants around the world.
